Sam Lyon

Sam Lyon is an established singer-songwriter from Cheshire, England. Responsible for her own success, Sam is an unsigned artist who has been performing around the country since the tender age of 14.

Having recently supported several big names in music including X Factor winner, Matt Cardle, and Miles Hunt from 80's rock band, The Wonder Stuff, Sam has a reputation of being a prolific performer, playing almost 300 shows in 2017, and 250 in 2018. Alongside completing two successful headlining UK tours, Sam has also taken to the stage at many well known festivals and music venues all over the UK, from London's Pinewood Studios to Liverpool's Albert Docks.

Achieving 2nd place in the Best In Music Awards 2019, Sam's success began earning her recognition from as early as 2013. As just a teenager, she was awarded 'Performer of the Year', one year before her debut EP, 'Promise Me', was even released, and at the start of 2018, Sam received her second award, as 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year'.

However, it was 2015 that was one of the most significant and propelling years in Sam's career. After releasing her second EP, 'The Bitter Taste of Bliss', in April, Sam went on to complete her first ever UK tour over the Summer, headlining venues from Leeds to London. On the final date of the tour, Sam released another brand new single, 'Every Second Counts', which gained an immediate response from radios internationally, including BBC Introducing. Within a matter of weeks, the track reached #1 on both the Tradiio Global Charts and the Round Sound Radio North West Charts, an astounding achievement for a young, unsigned artist.

In 2017, Sam released her debut music video, 'Constellations', followed closely by her second ever video release, 'Free', and then finally announced the release of her third EP, 'Comets + Constellations'. To celebrate the release of the new record, Sam hit the road once again, completing another successful headlining UK tour.

Her fourth release of the year saw Sam collaborate with an orchestra and choir for her latest single, 'Until The Night Is Over'. The track exploded, with the video reaching 70,000 people within the first two weeks of its release. Radio stations across the UK and Europe jumped at the success of the track, and Sam made several guest appearances, completing numerous interviews and live acoustic performances of the new single.

Like many others, John Delf, a renowned sound engineer who has worked with the likes of James Arthur, 5 Seconds of Summer, Kylie Minogue, and many more, also recognised Sam's speedy success back in 2013. After approaching Sam with an opportunity to record her debut EP, John, alongside Mark Winterburn, went on to produce all of Sam’s records, 'Promise Me', 'The Bitter Taste of Bliss', 'Every Second Counts', and 'Comets + Constellations', all of which have been picked up by BBC Introducing and various other radio stations internationally.
